Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess development prospects, including site evaluations and feasibility studies.
• Develop and execute project strategies, managing schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and regulatory requirements, coordinating with technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with experts/contractors on resource assessment, design, financial modelling, interconnection, and permitting.
• Develop acquisition plans, securing site control and engaging landowners, while coordinating meetings and community events.
• Cultivate relationships with landowners, customers, government officials, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate site resource monitoring, supporting environmental studies and report completion.
• Research local, state, and federal regulations, managing consultants for permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the origination of offtake opportunities, developing RFPs and support materials.
What You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree or qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
• 8+ years of experience in wind and/or solar project development having executed 6-8 projects and managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of zoning, permitting, and interconnection processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Project/Smartsheet, and Google Earth
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
